efflorescence

Soluble salts brought to the surface of masonry by the evaporation of moisture.

egg-and-dart

An ovolo moulding decorated with a pattern based on alternate ovals and arrowheads.

embrasure

A small opening in the parapet of a fortified building.

entablature

A cornice consisting of architrave, frieze, and projecting cornice.

entasis

 

The slight curve on columns to accentuate their height.
